Ramona Augustin, RN joined the practice as Clinical Nurse Coordinator in 1998. She has a strong background in patient care. She is a well educated nurse with many years of experience prior to becoming our nurse coordinator.

Mona’s main goal is to make every effort to help patients through all aspects of the surgical care so that they are completely comfortable at all times and so that they achieve the optimal outcome. As such she spends as much time as necessary to establish the necessary preliminary workup for the patient anticipating a surgical procedure, she makes sure that the patient and their family fully understand what is about to take place and that they are prepared both physically and mentally to the fullest extent possible. Following discharge she ardently communicates with the patients and their families so that they do not develop a sense of being left alone to recover. She searches out any possible problems that might delay healing and solves them before they might restrict progress.

Patients and families feel extremely comfortable with Mona and have no problem communicating their concerns to her. Mona is fluent in Japanese, Tagalog, Samoan, Korean and Spanish.
